 George FR Ellis
Dr. Ellis is a professor of Applied Mathematics at the University of
Capetown. His professional research work concentrates on relativity theory and
cosmology and he has published over 200 scientific papers and several books
including The Large scale Structure of Space Time, which he co-authored with
Steven Hawking. He published several papers on the relationship between science
and religion and is active on several Quaker committees and boards.
