Nihilism
From the Latin nihil, nothing,
a term referring to the extreme philosophical view there there is no
justification for values. The term is
also used to speak of the all-out attack on specific values - especially in
religion or morality. A nihilist is
presumably one who promotes the state of believing in nothing whatsoever, or
one who holds that there is nothing in life that is really purposeful or
meaningful.
