Watson, James Dewey (1928-)US biochemist and geneticist; with Francis Crick, co-discovered double
helical structure of DNA in 1953; wrote "The Molecular Biology of the
Gene" in 1965, "The Double Helix" in 1968; he won the Nobel Prize
in Medicine in 1962.
