3. Results
Given this method, we can delineate the conditions needed
for progress in theology and science. First, scholars in each field would
need to find that such an interaction is fruitful according to the criteria of
their own research field. Secondly, as major changes occur and are exchanged
between fields, the corresponding effects should be considered fruitful by
scholars in the other field, and so on. Finally, it might be possible to
compare these results favorably with those of scientists and theologians who
have not engaged in mutual interaction.
