Part 3: Challenges and Future Directions

We turn now toward the future in order to have a look at some of the emerging issues in the field of theology and science. These issues include feminist and postmodern critiques of the current dialogue, the world's religions changing the shape of the dialogue, continued research on the historical relations between science and religion, and prospects for making the dialogue a genuine two-way conversation.
